Abstract

Primary mission is to promote independent living among adults with disabilities. This includes empowering their skill development and employability. With keeping their dignity and social esteem as a priority.
A prominent question which is always put forward by parents of children with disability is “after their demise who will take care of their children”
We are looking forward to build a Group living facility for PWDs where they can utilize their skill set completely to earn living and to live their life in a sustainable way. The facility would include trainers, helpers and a fully assistive environment. The focus is to create a community which is inter-dependent and
workable.
In the view of above we at yes we can want to execute a seismic change in the pre existing and obsolete social architecture which is standing as a barrier for the development of PWDs. A vision to make our society as inclusive as possible where an individual is not judged by his or her physical appearance or limitations but rather what type of contribution they make in society irrespective of whether its economical or social. We dream of a utopian society where there is a level playing field and individuals can thrive. A place where there is absence of fear and truth prevails. We believe in Gandhian perspective of development and support/advocate for basic human rights.
